I want some input...
As I was watching, I heard a sound
And from behind me a snake snuck forth
Following a trail of breadcrumbs, following it’s path.
His name I decided was Hansel and I wondered if he was going home.
So I focused my attention upon the pattern being made
And sought to discover where the end would lead.
The snake twisted into spirals, turned into corkscrews,
Went up and over logs, slinked under and around people’s unwary feet.
No screeches, no squeals, no screams of attention were given to this feat.
Instead the group stood huddled searching for a clue
While underfoot the snake continued, unaware of
the ruckus up above.
“Shh!” I heard sputtered from the crowd, “Oh, nevermind,”
And they continued, unaware of
the trouble down below.
And so the searching comes to nothing and a relentless path is followed.
Breadcrumbs…
No.
I meant that red stuff, you know...
Oh, I forget.
Exams and Embarrassment
So this is a post for me to vent a little. I was just embarrassed a little.. actually not so much embarrassed, but a little mortified for sure. And I have three exams tomorrow, but I really can't be fucked to study for them. Can't concentrate. So tonight at dinner George and I, (ok ligistics here, I sit at the table that was like across the isle from ours, he sits at the one like, in the corner where the ho-train was; right no idea why that's important..) anyway, point is we have have a conversation, but it's a little loud. And we did just banter stuff. He's like i'm sorry you haven't seen male genetalia, and I was like just cus I haven't seen yours... at this point Evan (new guy) jumps in with (very loudly) ya didn't you give minemier a hand job. Everyone at my table and everyone at his table hears this... half the people at my table are like, what, Katie when did this happen. I just turned bright red and glared... And then I realized Julie was sitting there. Not sure if she heard or not. Kinda thinking she did. So I'm definetly embarrassed, everyone who heard wants to know what happened. Ya..
So anywya... exams... I totally failed chem today... looked over the material before only to discover that half the HL material, we haven't covered! I really have no idea what to do next!!
anyway, I gotta go, cus i have three (count 'em, three) exams in the morning!! woho!!! and my roommate says hi (sara). Ya, and the internet's about to go out..
Miss you guys!!
Love you!!

The Magic Mountain...
So ya. I fell bad, am once again hoping Julie won't kill me. This time not for de-virginizing her brother, but just in general.
In the meantime though, Sharp's killing us all. We find out at like 10 pm last night that he told the boys the journal's due tomorrow or he's putting in a zero. Girls are screwed. All of us. It's fun. Anyway I have to now tromp up the stairs to French. damnit. =
Miss you all
Love
Katie
ps. special prayer to the snow gods!!
Rebuttals, Rebuttals

A Place Called Bluewood

So, at this place called Bluewood that is a 45 minute drive from my campus, it has been snowing for about 4 days straight. So this morning, we got up early and drove over there. We were waist deep in fresh untouched powder. The ski place opened up yesterday. There are only two lifts, but the powder was insane. There were so many steep runs that went right through pine forests. We had to weave in and out of trees while ripping fresh tracks. The powder runs were longer than anything I ever did in Leysin. It was mind blowing. MIND BLOWING! It snowed the entire time, and was still snowing when we left. Fortunately, the visibility was perfect with not too much fog and no flat light. There was no wind, and the conditions were just overall... perfect. I boarded with some folks from Colorado and California and Alaska, and they all agreed that these were pretty much some of the best skiing conditions they had ever been in. We boarded from opening till closing, a total of about 6 hours. So any of you questioning the merits of the northwest, let me tell you, we got a lot to offer. So what have all of you been up to this weekend?
