So, I check this thing often and there's never anything new. I'm going to write something new. I just started my second quarter of my second year and I'm officially a junior. I've been put into my major of English w/ an emphasis in Creative Writing. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do grad school here too because they offer publishing internships. My teachers have been really encouraging and I've submitted some poems to the campus literary arts magazine. We'll see how that goes when they put it out in May. My fingers are crossed that I'll get in. I'm taking tons of writing classes which are getting confusing as all hell and to top it off a class on 'Representation of Otherness.' Exciting huh?
I'm still working at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It has its ups and downs. Right now it's up because I don't work long days and deal with post-holiday depressed people who are irritable and like to bitch anyone out. I know a girl who is probably quitting soon, and I'm hoping for her position when she quits. Fingers crossed on that one. I don't plan on staying at Bed, Bath, and Beyond my whole life but god forbid I dare to want a raise too early. I pretty much know the entire store by now and if you have any questions about bedding, bath, or kitchen stuff...don't hesitate to ask. I only give answers to few people, and you guys are included in that few.
Other than all the extra stuff I'm doing okey I guess. I have a good group of friends although people come in and out of it. I've kept my apartment relatively clean and my roommates in check. One of them decided to let a bunch of his freeloading friends stay up here a few nights in a row. I think I scared them off with one of my furious cleaning spress though. Noice. I figure he's moving out at the end of the lease though so I'm already getting ideas of who should move in next. It's never too early!! Trust me.
I've made an entirely new batch of cookies that tops all the rest. Apple-spiced drops. Scrumptious if I don't say so myself. Which reminds me; I wanted to make some tonight before people start coming over for the party, but I need to get beer pong balls. Grr. I've got two hours. It'll work. So I guess that means I gotta go. If you can, you should come up and visit. I'm collecting people. 2 down, a few more to go. Courtney!!! Convince your dad that I need you!
