16 Military Wives

So I'm excited. The Decemberists are coming to Seattle/Vancouver in November and I'm totally going! If you don't know who The Decemberists are you should know, lol. They're pretty much just plain awesome. Plus I haven't been to a concert in ages. Apparently Norah is coming early November to stay with me for a little bit. That should be fun. How long she's staying I have no idea, but I'm going to give Charlie a call and maybe we can all get together. That means you too Paul if you get to it.

My classes are just plain awesome too. I love my poetry class and my scriptural lit class. Even more so, I love my mythology class. I've discovered my obsession with the subject isn't completely pointless. It has something of a future, lol. I've been pretty tempted to e-mail Sharp or McAvoy and give them an update but I have a feeling they won't reply. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I really do want to know if we're ever getting those senior DVD's. I mean we paid for them. Plus it will bring back so many memories...grr.

So I met this guy. I think I like him, and I think he may like me back, but there's a few problems. I'm nervous around him and can't talk properly and I still constantly think about the guy who went to Amsterdam for a year. It's sad I know. Especially when I know he didn't like me back. I guess maybe I felt like I could still change his mind. What a moron I am. Oh well, my whole 'love' life has been inept moment after inept moment. We'll see what happens I guess.

The house here is going great. My roommates are pretty chill and I have friends to go chill with when need be. I work a lot so I don't have much time, but I still make sure I have fun. Well I could probably say much more, but I'm going to go grab my books from someone and start studying for a test. Love you and miss you all. I'm trying to call everyone. We'll see how that works out.

WWC

Wasted Wednesday Club...
I think a lot of you can tell where this is going... I can too... Haha. So last night I finally agreed to go out with my roommate and drink on a school night. I figure, hell we did it in Vermont and managed to not die at school the next day, and what's better I only have 2 classes on Thursday... So what if one of them is at 8am... So anyway, we go and it's a lot of fun. We played games, I did my first Yager bomb (yagermister dropped in an energy drink). Actually I did my first like 5 yager bombs... but anyway... most of the night i was like, ya i'd blow under... and then somehow, i got to the point where i'd blow over... and then i got to the point where i don't remember things... luckily i got to that point back in my room...so the only potentially embarassing thing i did was call dan and i have no idea what i said to him... so i'm gonna have to find that out later today... So now i'm hungover and eating leftover mac and cheese (so nasty...)
Anyway, in other news... i don't usually do this and have been more responsible in the past... haha. sure... seriously though... all of you now have facebook, you can check out pictures from the date night we had. that was fun...
i'm gonna go pass out and try to sleep it off a little more... oh ouch...
miss you guys
love

Untitled Because I Said So.

So, here is a random picture of me climbing from a couple weeks ago. I'm posting here mostly to procrastinate from writing an essay comparing Aristotle and Francis Bacon. Anyways, another piece of news... I'll be going to France for winter break so if any of you happen to be in France for some reason then you should drop by. I also modified the template for the blog a bit. Now there is a link to the las website on the right. Damn it has changed. They have such a fancy website now. It almost makes you want to refer people to LAS for their secondary education. I especially like the part where they interview LAS kids that we know and have nice little cutsie pictures of them. Oddly though, not all the pictures have interviews attached and it's pretty clear why by looking at who the pictures are of. ha. Anyways, I also added a link to my shared articles from google reader, in case you are interested in what I read on the internet. Heck, you might even consider. You should especially check out the article about how researches found the Daily Show to have as much substance as any of the major news networks... so true. Anyways, what's cookin' with everyone else? I want to see pictures. Although not drunk pictures, I get enough bombardment of that from those stupid facebook feeds.
