Coconuts and Carmen Sandiego
Wow... I think this is the most permanent summer I have had in years.. except for one week when I was in NY to visit my grandmother, I've been in Nigeria the whole time. It's a weird place, folks. My only friend here right now is a 30 year-old male nurse. 'Nuff said. My sis thinks we have a fling going on, but really we are just sneaking off to smoke pot. Although he is pretty cute, hehe. A few weeks ago I was hanging out with a bunch of posh kids from London, but they all left. The only bar not crawling with prostitutes is full of 50-year-old men. The staff at my boss' guesthouse leave the light on in the laundry room to 'dry the clothes'. I wouldn't want to live here, but for a few months it is pretty entertaining to see how the place works. Paul, I just picked up the 3rd movement of the Moonlight to pass some time, as well as the 8th Sonata... which some of you may remember as the music in Carmen Sandiego when you are flying from place to place. Well, those of you with full and rewarding childhoods perhaps :P I'm getting into the states in August, and have to get to Montreal a week or two later, so that's me out for the summer. But hey, that's the way the coconut drops. Speaking of which, I'm about to go to the beach. See ya!
