Santa Cruz

So I too landed a job, but mine seems to be a bit out of the ordinary. After being rejected from the firefighting gig and then being given the finger by Disney for an internship, I applied for a job at Camp Atwater.

Camp Atwater is the oldest traditionally black camp in America. I will be one of the head counselors with (hopefully) the biggest cabin with the oldest guys. I will also be teaching survival and hiking. I'm pretty sure that there will be a lot of unhappy campers calling home about mean white Justin shooting me in the ass with a BB Gun.

But that's good times.

I'm actually in Santa Cruz, CA at University of California visiting a buddy before he ships off for Army Basic training. Sad that we got so old so quick. I've gone Kayaking on Monterey Bay, gone to Bubba Gumps' Shrimp restaurant, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, partied with some REALLY good looking girls and seen a lot of people get high. Too bad I don't talk to Daniel Nagy, I would have tried to visit him, but WHATEVA.

Y'all should call me now that I have my cellphone, I'll leave it up to you to call. I'm trying to hit DC sometime this summer, so Paul & Chris... keep a bed open for me.

Enjoy yourselves and be safe.
